Thank you both very much. I added those little lines via Photoshop ... no, just kidding. This was actually shot from the parking lot just north of the Space Needle. We were just packing up to find a late dinner. I was waiting for the last few stragglers and I couldn't resist making a few more exposures. This was my favorite. Thanks again. I really appreciate your kind comments. #1925545

I love this golden image Jim with it's tight rectangular crop. I like so much such night shots. #1957566

This is a wonderful shot Jim. Vertical shots can be very interesting, and they have a certain impact and strength. If I may ask, what lens did you use here?

Thank you very much, guys! I appreciate it. This is one my favorites from this shoot. I too love night images taken just after the sun sets, when there is still some color in the sky.

This was created with a 28-135mm lens at 35mm. It was a 4 second exposure at f/6.3, using a tripod to support my camera during that long exposure. I cropped the image in Photoshop to give it this vertical panoramic format.

Thanks again! #2435432

Jim,
Neat effect and great shot!
But I want to make sure you see the note that I at least, and I am sure so many others, are SO GLAD AND THANKFUL for this great, great idea you have had here. People are learning and feeding off each others ingenuity and creativity here...and none of that would have been possible without you doing this. Thanks so much!!!!!!
